Jurjen (Jerry) Smeding, 68, passed away on March 2, 2023, in Honesdale, PA. Jurjen is survived by his daughter, Jessica De Sersa (Smeding) - Las Vegas, NV - Her children: Jacob and Jocelyn De Sersa- of San Antonio, TX. Son - Dennis Smeding - of Drums, PA. His wife Kelly and children: Avea and Brielle Smeding. Son, Jerry Smeding - of Waymart, PA, Daughter, Bridgette Brown (Smeding) - of Waymart, PA - Her husband Ryan and daughter Abigail Brown, and his long life partner in crime, Lorraine Aponte, of Waymart, PA. Jurjen is preceded in death by mother, Corrine Smeding and father, Jerry Smeding, brother, Peter Smeding and sister, Patricia Smeding. Visitation will be on Tuesday, at 5:00-7:00 PM at Howell Family Funeral Home, Inc. Edward R. Howell, Funeral Director, 269 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA 18472. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
