Robert Karl Hellmers, 90, of Honesdale, PA, died at home on August 12, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, the former Joyce Hawley. Born on March 21, 1932, in Equinunk, Pa, he was the son of the late Karl and Marion Hellmers. He attended Hancock Central School and was a member of St Joseph's Church in Rileyville.

He was the Township Supervisor in Manchester Township for 15 years, served on the board of directors for the Wayne County Conservation Office, and was the founder of the Tri-GAL 4H club. Many people will remember Bob Hellmers as their bus driver. He drove for Wayne Highlands School District for over 35 years.
