Reva M. Lamberton, 94, of Waymart, passed away peacefully at home on Friday morning, March 31, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Reva was a member of the Western Wayne School Board and served as the Board Secretary for over 30 years. She was a Past Matron of Laurel Chapter # 67 OES, as well as Past President of the American Legion Auxiliary # 889. She is survived by her children, James and his wife Joan Lamberton of Waymart, Pa., Linda and husband John Baldwin of South Canaan, Katie Briski her California daughter and Lorna and her husband Kim Johns of Waymart. She was predeceased by her husband, Abe, who passed away in 1971 and daughter, Belva Puerile and her grandson Kevin Lawler. Her loving grandchildren include, James, Robert and John Lawler, Lisa Molinaro, Kimberly Wildes, Jesse Lamberton, Jennifer Burleigh, Christine McClure, John Baldwin and William Johns. As well as many great-grandchildren. Her funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 5th in the Calvary United Methodist Church, 151 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in the church. An Eastern Star Service will be held at 11:00 AM. A traditional service will be held at 11:30 A.M. in the church with Pastor Wendy D’Agostino officiating. A luncheon will follow the services at Ladore Lodge, 398 South Street Waymart, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Calvary United Methodist Church, PO Box J, Waymart, PA 18472. Interment will be private in East Canaan Cemetery.
