Catherine E. Kriner

Catherine E. Kriner, 85, of Honesdale passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, February 27, 2020 at Wayne Memorial Hospital after an illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth L. Kriner on April 23, 2011. Born October 26, 1934 in Flushing, New York, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Dunn) O'Donnell. Catherine is survived by five children: Mary Jean Kriner and her companion Ed of Forest Hills, NY, Christine Nehlsen of Bethany, Michael Kriner and his wife Barbara of Houston, TX, John Kriner and his wife Mary of Wantaugh, NY, and Terri Kriner and her companion Don Stiles of Honesdale; seven grandchildren: Robert, Ashley, Matthew, Michael, Kyle, Brittany, and Katelyn; two great-grandchildren: Greyson and Reid; and her sister, Mary Rogers of Southold, NY. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Kriner. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Calverton National Cemetery, New York.
