Scott E. Boguski, Sr.

Scott E. Boguski, Sr., 62, of Equinunk, passed away peacefully Friday night, February 21, 2025 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley after an illness. His beloved wife, Mary (Gendek) Boguski survives him.

Born May 24, 1962 in Carbondale, he was the son of John C. Boguski, Sr. of Waymart, and the late Barbara (Green) Boguski.

Scott was a graduate of Waymart High School, and later attended Johnson College. He worked at Prompton Tool for more than 30 years. Scott enjoyed fishing, lottery tickets, and going to the casino. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife Mary, and father John, Scott is also survived by: four step-children: Deserie Graley, Albert Sell, LaCrisha Willert, and Angie Kelch; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers: John Boguski Jr., Dennis Boguski and his wife Colleen, and Allen Boguski; and a sister, Beth Ann Cortese and her husband Rick; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his two sons, Scott E. Boguski, Jr. and Steven Boguski; and a nephew, Arich Boguski.

In accordance with Scott's wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
