Sandra L. Mcelroy

On Thursday evening, September 2, 2021, after a 40-year battle with medical challenges, Sandy L. McElroy, 59, of Waymart moved on to watch over us from above. Born February 20, 1962 in Hancock, New York, she was the daughter of Carolyn (Robbins) Marsh of Waymart and the late Edward Marsh who died on March 27, 1992. During her beautiful life Sandy enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Whether it be on a cruise ship or a motorcycle, Sandy embraced every new morning and whatever challenges it brought. Her determination to fight and win was only shadowed by her heart and willingness to give. In addition to her mother, Sandy will be sorely missed by Steve, her partner in crime of more than 35 years; her children, Jason, Megan, Misty, and Shawn; her sister Suzy; Haley and the ten other grandchildren will continue to celebrate her life for all the years to come. Friends and family may visit on Saturday, September 11 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Jenkins-Howell Funeral Home, Inc. Edward R. Howell, Funeral Director, 269 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA 18472.
