Richard Scaparro

Richard Scaparro, 84, passed away on May 17, 2023, in Honesdale, PA.

Richard is survived by his wife Roberta Scaparro of Waymart, PA, and his children: John and Ann Scaparro, Cristine and Ken Faustmann, and Michael and Melissa Scaparro as well as his five grandchildren: Jessica, Rebecca, Matthew, Grayson, and Lilli.

Richard is preceded in death by his father Bernard Scaparro, his mother Gracia Scaparro, and his brother Joseph Scaparro.

Richard loved his family, food, beer, friends, reading obituaries, and complaining. His body gave up on him long before his spirit and he fought up until the end. He will be missed by all that loved him.

The family is planning a celebration of Richard's life to take place later in the year.

Richard's favorite charity was the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
