Michelle Kerylovicz DellaRocco, 53, of Vandling passed away unexpectedly after an illness on Monday evening, June 7, 2021 at Regional Hospital in Scranton.
Born on September 25, 1967 in Waymart, she was the daughter of Claudia (Miller) Kerylovicz of Waymart who survives her, and the late Lawrence Kerylovicz.
Michelle graduated from Western Wayne High School, and went on to work in the healthcare field for most of her life. She was known for wearing two pair of socks all year long, regardless of the weather. Michelle will be remembered for her love of pigs, and being a true friend and mother to countless others. She loved people and genuinely enjoyed caring for them. Michelle made many good memories playing golf and visiting wineries with those she loved. She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her.
She is also survived by four children, Amanda Smith, Keith Smith and his wife Ashley, Ryan Smith, and Nicole DellaRocco. Michelle loved being “Gammy” to her two grandchildren, Callie and Michael; two sisters, Lisa and Jennica; a brother, Tom; nieces, Katlyn and Keanna; her cat Rocco; and her grand-dog Sophia. Her husband, Pete DellaRocco also survives her, as well as two of her best friends, Bob and Maureen Smith.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. in Jenkins-Howell Funeral Home, Inc. Edward R. Howell, Funeral Director, 269 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA 18472 with Pastor Wendy D’Agostino officiating.
Friends may visit on Friday, June 11 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
