Michael C. Reynolds

Michael C. Reynolds, 38, of Honesdale, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 10, 2021 at home. Born January 25, 1983 in Carbondale, PA, he was the son of Doris Ann (Leonard) Reynolds of Honesdale and the late Lynn G. “Sonny” Reynolds. Michael graduated from Honesdale High School in 2001. He went on to study at the Culinary Institute of America where he graduated in 2003. Michael was a member of the Catholic Church. He was a very talented young man who attained success in a modeling career for several lines of men’s clothing and design. Michael was also a self-employed general contractor and was a skilled carpenter. He was also a member of the Waymart Masonic Lodge #542 Free and Accepted Masons. In addition to his mother, Michael is also survived by his companion Heather Hopkins of Hawley, his brother, Jeffrey Reynolds and his wife Carolyn of Prompton; his sister, Kelly Reynolds and her significant other, Sridhar Samudrala of Delhi, NY; niece and nephews, Amber White, Landon Reynolds, and Jonathan White, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 15th at 9:30 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 150 Terrace Street, Honesdale, PA. Everyone attending is asked to go directly to the church on Wednesday. Friends and family may visit on Tuesday, December 14th from 4-7 PM in the Chapel at the Main Lodge of Ladore Lodge and Conference Center, 398 South Street, Waymart, PA 18472. A Masonic Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday in the Chapel at the Main Lodge of Ladore. Interment will be in The Waymart Cemetery at Canaan Corners on Wednesday.
