Margaret Bowman

Margaret A. Bowman, 78, of Carbondale, passed away on Sunday evening, June 18, 2023 at Wayne Woodlands Manor after an illness. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Peter Bowman in 1993.

Born March 20, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Moore) Murphy.

Margaret enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales. she She will be remembered for he fondness of watching old movies and chocolate nutty buddy bars. More than anything in this world, Margaret loved her family; she loved spending time with her grandchildren and also her great grandchildren. She was grateful for the loved she share with her cat Tom, and stuffed bear. Together, they enjoyed taking rides around the countryside and shared a special bond that can never be broken. She will be deeply missed. 

She is survived by her children: Irene Bowman, Peter Bowman, Patricia Michaels, and Margaret Bowman; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Margaret was also preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Bowman in 2014.

In accordance with her wishes, following cremation, there will be no public services.
