Louise M. Roegner

Louise M. Roegner, 79, of Waymart passed away Friday morning, February 3,2017 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Roegner in 2009. Born November 29, 1937 in Honesdale, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Helene (Krukoski) Krol. Louise worked for many years at Chroma Tube in White Mills. Later in life she worked at The Honesdale Greenhouse. She loved flowers and gardening;she was also fond of jigsaw puzzles. Louise was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Many special memories were made while living with her grandchildren, Thomas, Kaitlyn, and Madisyn. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by two sons, William R. Roegner II of West Virginia, Thomas P. Roegner and his wife Susan of of Waymart; a daughter, Julie Garman of Carbondale; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Michael Krol of Honesdale; and a sister, Alice Messenger and husband Ronald of Matamoras. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Roegner in 1990; and a sister, Camille Patochski. In accordance with Louise's wishes, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in The Waymart Cemetery at Canaan Corners in the spring.
