Lewis A. Boots, 65, of Clinton Township, Waymart died unexpectedly, on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at home after a sudden illness.
Born June 12, 1950, he was the son of the late Paul and Jennifer Lisowski Boots.
Lewis graduated from Waymart High School, Class of 1968. He lived his life on the family farm. Lewis worked for the local water company for many years and served in the Waymart and Hawley locations. He retired just a few years ago. Lewis lived a simple life; he enjoyed tractors, country living, and especially enjoyed his friendships with many co-workers. He was a very kind and loving uncle. He will be missed.
He is survived by a brother-in-law, Eugene "Ed" Vaverchak of South Canaan; a nephew, Eric Vaverchak of Carbondale; a great-niece, Cheyenna; a great-nephew, Eric Jr.; and several cousins.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Christina Vaverchak; and several aunts and uncles.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. in Canaan Corners Cemetery, Owego Turnpike, Waymart.
