Kathryn P. Moyle

Kathryn P. Moyle, 71, of Clinton Township, Waymart passed away on Saturday morning, May 21, 2022 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, after an illness. Her husband, Craig S. Moyle survives her. Born July 18, 1950 in Paterson, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Harold Johnston and Evelyn Baird. Kathi was a paralegal, and worked for several local attorneys through the years. She was a member of Canaan Bible Chapel and Ladies Auxiliary. Kathi enjoyed creating crafts and started her own business, Woodland Whimsicals, making beautiful creations for more than ten years. Most of all, she loved her family and will always be remembered as a kind and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. In addition to her husband, Craig, she is also survived by four children: Matt Moyle and his partner Jennifer LaPerriere of York, Maine, Brad Moyle and his wife Jill of North Abington Twp. PA, Meghan Canik and her husband Jason of Palm City, FL, and Cody Moyle and Shayna Dyer of Waymart; eight grandchildren: Eric, Kennedy, Sydney, Jackson, Savannah, Zyla, Braxton, and Hudson; brothers and sisters: Carolee Shepherd, Ted Johnston, Beth King, Scott Johnston; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at Canaan Bible Chapel with Pastor Dan Henwood officiating, on a date to be announced. Kathi’s wishes were fulfilled in being a donor to the Humanity Gifts Registry.
