Judith A. Leonard Torrick, 75, of Waymart passed away suddenly, after an illness on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Regional Hospital of Scranton.
Born August 5, 1946 in Batesville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Martha Armilda (Sparks) Singleton.
Judy was a U.S. Army Veteran and served as a medic during Vietnam. She retired from SCI Waymart after many years where she was a Corrections Officer. Judy was a member of the Laurel Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Judy is survived by her children: Robert E. Leonard II and his wife Marlene of Greenfield Twp., Scott A. Leonard of Fort Smith Arkansas, and Christopher P. Leonard and his wife Karen of Kulpmont, PA; grandchildren: Robin and Sterling Jennings, Robert Leonard III, Michele, John, Nancy, Sam, and Kayla; and two great-grandsons: Leo and Lucas Jennings.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Charles, Kathy, James, Linda, and Jackie.
In accordance with Judy’s wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial services.
Private interment will be in Rockdale Cemetery, Franklin County, Indiana.
