Jeffry F. Hopkins, 62, of Rapho Township, Lancaster County, PA, formerly of Wayne County, passed away suddenly of natural causes on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at home. His wife, Mary Ann (Kromko) Hopkins survives him.
Born September 4, 1958 in Suffern, New York, he was the son of the late William and Eleanor (Eisenhauer) Hopkins.
Jeff graduated from Western Wayne High School, class of 1976. He was a gifted carpenter who used his craftsmanship skills throughout his life. Jeff and Mary Ann enjoyed many travels together to Las Vegas, where they made many wonderful memories. He had a beautiful and loving relationship with his two grandchildren, and will always be remembered for being a truly special grandfather.
He is survived by a son, David Hopkins and his wife Dawn of Spring Grove, PA; and a daughter, Kelly Richenaker and her husband Mark of Allentown; two grandchildren: Delaney and Maxwell, both of whom he adored; three brothers, William, Paul, and Michael; and two sisters; Janet Fullwood and Joann Hopkins-Kent.
Close friends and family may visit on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 4-6 PM at Jenkins-Howell Funeral Home, Inc. Edward R. Howell, Funeral Director, 269 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA, 18472.
All attending are asked to keep their condolences brief, and are also reminded that masks are required; all CDC guidelines will be strictly adhered to.
