James E. Crown

James E. Crown, 66 of Honesdale passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family on Thursday, March 10, 2022 after an illness. His loving wife of more than 47 years, the former Karen Rake survives him. Born October 29, 1955 in Callicoon, New York, he was the son of Lola P. (Williams) Crown of Honesdale, and the late Erwin T. Crown. James is also survived by his children: James Crown Jr., Bradley Crown and his wife Paula, Joseph Crown and his companion Chrissy, and Amanda Crown and her fiancé David Jenkins; and several grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his brother Stephen Crown. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at Camp Summit, 168 Duck Harbor Road, Honesdale, PA 18431.
