Geraldine Berninger

Geraldine M. Berninger, 63, of Paupack Township, Hawley, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at home. Her beloved husband, Egon J. Berninger preceded her in death on February 16, 2023.

Born March 16, 1960 in Orange, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Marcella (McNally) Davis.

A faithful Christian who walked closely with the Lord, Gerri attended Our Father's House of Worship in Shohola and New Covenant Fellowship in Hawley. Prior to her retirement, she was a school bus driver. More than anything in this world, Gerri loved her children. She will be lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to have her in their lives.

Gerri is survived by her children: Sarah Schwindt of New Jersey, and Noah Riley Berninger and Aaron Malachi Berningher, both at home; and two sisters, Eileen Long of Glen Allen, VA and Julia Davis of Port St. Lucie, FL.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Davis; and a sister, Donna Giordano.

Memorial Services will be held on a date to be announced.
