Gerald J. Simmons

Gerald J. Simmons, 87, of Wayne Woodlands Manor in Waymart died Wednesday evening, February 19, 2025.

Born March 30, 1937 in White Mills, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Miszler) Simmons.

Gerald was of the Catholic faith. He had a profound interest in native American culture and history. Prior to his retirement, Gerald was an automotive mechanic.

He is survived by a brother, John Simmons and his wife Elvira of White Mills.

Gerald was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Rollison.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.

Gerald will be laid to rest with his parents in St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery, Fair Avenue, Honesdale.
