Edward F. Shylkofski

Edward (Ed) Shylkofski, age 59, of Honesdale, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at home. Born in Scranton, he is the son of the late Aloysius and Florence Shylkofski. Ed graduated from Honesdale High and first worked at a local factory before working for himself as a contractor. He enjoyed repairing vehicles and taking road trips around the northeast looking for his next project. Ed was known for always making himself available to help a friend in need. He is survived by his son, Stephen and his wife Samantha, Groveland, FL, and his brothers, Al, Crawfordville, FL, and Frank and his wife Shannon, Honesdale. Ed had many nieces and nephews and served as a mentor for Brian Lanza, Honesdale. He was preceded in death by his older brother Stanley. A private service will be held for his family.
