Edward Evans

Edward J. Evans, 75, of South Canaan passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at home. 

Born November 28, 1942, he was the son of the late Edward and Mildred (Kupinski) Evans.

Originally from Peckville, PA, Ed moved with his family as a young boy to New York City where he attended Brooklyn Tech High School and then attended the City College of New York.  He earned a Masters Degree in Engineering. 

He then drove across country while listening to the song "California Dreamin" from the Mamas And The Papas and moved to Southern California, where he worked as an Engineer in the Aerospace industry for over 20 years and raised a family.  He returned to PA in later years and enjoyed reading and working on projects around the house.   

Ed was a very kind, patient, gentle man and will be missed.

He is survived by a daughter Jennifer Evans of Valencia, CA, as well as the Kupinski family.  He was also preceded in death by a son, Edward Alexander Evans.

In accordance with his wishes, following cremation, services will be private.
