Donna Hodorawis

Donna Hodorawis, 72, of Waymart passed away on Thursday morning, March 11, 2021 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Her husband of 50 years, Edward J. Hodorawis survives her. They were married on February 4, 1971. Born June 20, 1948 in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Lois (Roe) Shuman. Donna graduated from Honesdale High School, Class of 1966. She went on to study at the Wayne Commercial School. Donna worked at the former Farview State Hospital and later at the Wayne County Courthouse until retirement. Donna is survived by three children, Brian Hodorawis and his wife Tamara of Honesdale, Kevin Hodorawis of Hamburg, PA, and Kimberly Hodorawis of Honesdale; two grandchildren, Abigail and Jared Hodorawis; a brother, Jeffrey Shuman and his wife Linda of Honesdale; and a sister, Denise Bronson of Sterling. A graveside memorial will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Darling Cemetery, Cherry Ridge.
