David L. Lamberton, 74, of Waymart passed away suddenly after an illness, on Sunday afternoon, April 25, 2021 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.
Born October 31, 1946 in Carbondale, he was the son of the late Walter and Catherine (Marsh) Lamberton.
David enjoyed the great outdoors, and will be remembered for his love of hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time at the family cabin along the Delaware River where he could do what he loved best. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
David is survived by his four children, Robert Lamberton of Montrose, PA, John Lamberton and his wife Jen of Stroudsburg, PA, Kathy Petrilak and her husband Christopher of Waymart, and Scott Lamberton of Waymart; nine grandchildren, Emma, Celeena, Samantha, Beau, Maxsim, Alexsander, Katelyn, Melissa, and Courtney; two great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Lincoln; and a sister, Joanne Anderson of Mechanicsburg, PA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Lamberton, and Frank Lamberton.

Funeral Services and Interment will be private in East Canaan Cemetery, South Canaan, at the convenience of the family.
