Carol Chesna

Carol Chesna, 78, of Bethany, passed away Tuesday morning, March 24, 2020 at Creekside Nursing Home in Carbondale after an illness. Her beloved husband, William T. Chesna survives her. Born April 20, 1941 in Kingston, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Toluba) Skripka. Carol is also survived by a son, Bill Chesna of Florida; a brother, John Skripka and his wife Denise of Bethany; grandchildren: Jake, Mary, Cole, and Ryan; daughters-in-law, Jacqueline Chesna, and Christine Chesna; and her little dog, Frankie. Carol was also preceded in death a sister, Janice (Skripka) Harrison in 2014; and a son, Michael Chesna in 2018. Due to the current health pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Private burial will be in Bethany Cemetery. The Reverend Timothy Hall of Nebo Baptist Church, Nanticoke, PA will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to Jenkins-Howell Funeral Home, Inc. Edward R.
