Alice Decker Daniels, 79, of Waymart passed away unexpectedly after an illness on Friday morning, February 1, 2019 at Wayne Woodlands Manor.
Born April 30, 1939 in Peckville, she was the daughter of the late Charles & Alice (Hess) Decker.
Alice was a wonderful mother and friend. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. Alice loved dancing and meeting new people. She also loved to go shopping and giving presents to everyone. Alice enjoyed laughing, nature, and her beloved dogs, Sundance and Thunder. She will be missed so much by all of us.
She is survived by three children: Charles Eisenhauer and his wife Dana of Lakeland, FL, Susan Warnock and her husband John of Waymart, and Scott Daniels of Waymart; grandchildren: Doug Warnock and his wife Amanda of Solon, Iowa, Melissa Stephens and her husband Damien of Honesdale, Robert Warnock of Waymart, and Sara Willis of Lakeland, FL; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a son, James Eisenhauer; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Willis-Eisenhauer; two sisters: Jean Bingham and Nancy Good; three brothers: Robert, Harvey, and Donald Decker.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 6:30 PM in Jenkins-Howell Funeral Home, Inc., Edward Howell, Funeral Director, 269 Belmont St. Waymart, PA 18472 with Pastor Mary Bryant officiating.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 3:30 PM through the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Alice's memory to Dessin Animal Shelter, 138 Miller Drive, Honesdale, PA 18431.
Following cremation, graveside services and burial will be this Summer in Simon Cemetery, South Canaan with all of her family attending.
