Alex E. Fasceski

Alexander E. Fasceski, 65, of Rileyville passed away peacefully, after an extended illness on Sunday evening, July 17, 2022 at home. His beloved wife, the former Joan A. Kenyon survives him. Born June 19, 1957 in Honesdale, he was the son of the late Alexander J. and Margaret Della (Brown) Fasceski. Alex grew up on the family dairy farm in Rileyville. He worked for many years at Dirlam Brothers Lumber in Narrowsburg where he was a forklift operator. A hard worker his entire life, he was always keeping busy with something. Lovingly known as "Crash," by many close to him, Alex enjoyed “shooting the breeze” with his lifelong buddies. Alex enjoyed raising pigs and steer earlier in life and going on many cruises with his wife, Joan. Alex loved hunting and especially looked forward to smoking meat and turning his deer into jerky. Alex's "baby," LeRoy the pet pig, brought him much joy around the family home. More than anything, Alex loved his family and his friends and will always be remembered for his kind and loyal heart. In addition to his wife Joan, he is also survived by three children: Josh Fasceski and his companion Laura Minchin of Rileyville, Melissa Riggs and her husband Scott of Equinunk, and Bobbie-Lee Dailey and her husband Tim of Beach Lake; six grandchildren: Autumn, Alexia, Aubree, Bret, Leean, and Timmy Jr.; and one-great grandson, Calvin; a brother, John Fasceski; and two sisters: JoAnn Fasceski, and Karen Hiller. In accordance with his wishes, following cremation there will be no public services.
