Alan Curtis, 74, of Pleasant Mount passed away at home on Tuesday morning, August 16, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on March 1, 1948 in Honesdale, he was the son of the late Edward and Anna Mae (Robinson) Curtis.
Alan later married and had two children, Brian Curtis and Betsy Brown.
Alan was always a hard worker and had many jobs through the years including farmer and truck driver. His favorite was being "The Milk Man," is where he met his wife, Margaret Non who also survives him.
They raised three children, Lynn Rollison, Chris (Corky) Daniels, and Melissa Daniels.
Alan's biggest joys in life were his animals, beloved dogs, and most of all his grandchildren, Cody Rollison (Little Al), Landon Rollison, Noah Daniels, Kash Daniels, Kameron Daniels, and Evan Brown.
He also leaves behind two brothers, Larry Curtis and Eric Curtis; a sister, Linda Meredith; a son-in-law, Rich Rollison; and a daughter-in-law, Rochelle Daniels.
Al's favorite pastime was watching wildlife and the golf course from his window in Pleasant Mount.
A private ceremony will be held with his family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Al's memory to St. Jude's or SPCA.
