Egon J. Berninger

Egon J. Berninger, 67, of Paupack Township passed away on Thursday morning, February 16, 2023 at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton after an extended illness. His beloved wife, Geraldine M. (Davis) Berninger survives him. Born August 9, 1955 in Newton, NJ, he was the son of Egon J. Berninger of New Jersey and Florida, and the late Mary Ann (Strava) Berninger. Egon was an accountant prior to his retirement. He attended Our Father's House of Worship in Shohola, and enjoyed working on cars. Most of all, Egon loved his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is also survived by three children: Timothy Lawrence Berninger, Noah Riley Berninger, and Aaron Malachi Berninger; and two sisters: Linda Shrewsbury and Donna Hudak; one granddaughter, Rubi Berninger. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM at New Covenant Fellowship, 53 Columbus Avenue, Hawley, PA 18428.
