Doris Levonchuk

Doris A. Levonchuk, 88, of Pleasant Mount, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, January 28, 2023 at Allied Hospice in Scranton. Born August 24, 1934 in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Jules and Sophie (Dunikowski) Kaniewski. Prior to her retirement, Doris worked for New York Telephone. She is survived by a son, Nicholas Levonchuk of Pleasant Mount; a daughter, Julie Gilvey and her husband Mark of Lancaster, PA; two grandchildren: Taryn Dobitsch and her husband Chris, and Carson Gilvey and her husband Steve; a great-grandchild: Julian Dobitsch.
